Eat Healthy and Spend Less Money
“Eating healthy is expensive.” This is a statement that I hear from several clients, but this does not have to be factual. Take it from me…I am frugal…yes, I am cheap, and I certainly sniff out bargains like a beagle. Here are some ways to eat healthy and pay less dinero:
– Make a grocery list prior to leaving your home
– Always shop for fruits and vegetables that are in season
– Purchase items such as frozen fruits, vegetables, dairy items, meats and breads that have coupons online, and within the grocery store, or inside newspapers
– Stay away from sodas, artificial sweeteners, and energy drinks
– Don’t be afraid to try store brands and save a couple of coins or dollars
– Purchase that kale that you’ve looked at with the side-eye
Lastly, always remember to be mindful of what you consume. Your body is a gift and we only get one; make it a great one.
